“I make my vases to stand on their own, or be beautiful holding flowers, feathers, etc. A vase must have a presence, subtle is fine, but it must stand as a focal piece for me. To hold a flower is an important honor. I consider my garden and all the effort, work, water, and weather it takes to grow a bouquet of flowers. I want to honor the flower with an equally lovely vase.”
