This is done in the tradition of Dia De Los Muertos, representing mothers and those who inhabit her apron strings.

This piece was inspired by a recurring dream sequence in which I find myself standing before a calm blue pool. There are bluish beings beside the pool. In my dream, they know everything, there is no possibility of seeing anything but truth, because they are reflecting what is, and I can not do anything but gaze at the pool. The beings are too powerful, and the pool is painfully beautiful. When I wake, I long to see that pool again.
